Nice to meet you

ABOUT ME

Nicole Lewis, M.Ed., RP, CCDP, CCC

I am a Registered Psychotherapist in Ottawa, practicing at a post masters level in various mental health settings since 2010. Prior to that I worked in schools and as part of adventure therapy programs providing mental health/social support to at risk youth. I aspire to help people realize their ideal relationships. I offer a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to address a wide spectrum of sex and relationship concerns.

Whether you're facing challenges with dysfunction, communication, or exploring sexual identities and preferences, I provide a safe and supportive space for you to explore and grow. Through professional talk therapy, I aim to empower individuals with the tools and knowledge to cultivate healthier, more fulfilling sexual lives. My commitment to destigmatizing sexuality and promoting positive sexual expression ensures that every client receives the understanding and guidance they need to achieve greater intimacy and satisfaction in their relationships.

Frequently asked questions

What are your hours?

Currently I only offer services on Monday and Tuesday evening. Mondays are only virtual and Tuesday can be either virtual or in-person

Coverage for Psychotherapy?

Counselling and psychotherapy services are generally NOT covered through OHIP. Most of my services are covered by third-party insurance companies. You should, however, check with your insurance plan advisor before your appointment to make sure they will cover my sessions.

If your plan covers services provided by Registered Psychotherapists, it will recognize my credentials.

Please remember! You can also use any medical receipts that have not been reimbursed by health plans to receive deductions on your taxes.

What are your fees?

My fee model for individual and couples counselling is $180 for a 50 minute session. I prefer e-transfer for sessions but credit cards can be set up in the client portal to be charged by the clinician at the end of the session.

I offer clinical supervision for individuals, and dyads and am happy to discuss fees with you individually.

Where can I learn more about you?

I provide a free, confidential and commitment-free, 15-minute virtual meeting so that I can better understand your concern(s) and ensure that my services are a fit. This also provides you with an opportunity to ask questions about my services, in order to determine if you’re interested in moving forward.

All potential clients must book a ‘meet and greet’ appointment.
